“We opted to do the tour with the optional 2hr hike to the Karen village. Pros: pickup was timely, clean and comfortable van. Small group experience Cons: long day with a lot of driving, lunch was just okay and lacking strong flavors known in Thai cuisine, tour guide was uninformative Things to know: Hike was not too strenuous but may be slippery or difficult for those with bad knees or low mobility since it is downhill the whole time. “We really enjoyed the activities. We saw lots. The trek was fab with amazing views. However the van we travelled in was awful - the shock absorbers were broken which made for a very very bumpy & uncomfortable journey. This ruined the end of the trip. If the tour provider upgraded the van, I would definitely give it higher rating. I would ask about the van you will be transported in prior to booking this tour.”

“If you’re looking for a quintessential northern Thailand excursion, this is it. An informative funny guide (Gohan was ours!), 2 hr hike/nature walk, 4-5 crazy waterfalls, beautiful views, connecting with other people in your group from all over the world, a included delicious Thai lunch (even accommodated my vegetarian needs), a coffee/tea tasting, rainforest vibes, highest point in Thailand, then twin Pagodas at the end! What an incredible time and couldn’t recommend it enough. And I never do group tours either!”

“Yut Yut Yut!! Such a great experience, all thanks to our guide Yut. A lot of these tours are so dependent on the guide and he did not disappoint. Everything was as described and it was so helpful to have him describe all the extra info tips around the temples, villages, etc. Ask for Yut when you book. Definitely a highlight of our trip overall (and this is from someone who doesn’t leave a lot of reviews either) :)”

“It was good fun! Unfortunately a bit misty so didn’t get a view from the pavilions, but the national park and hike were very beautiful with scenic waterfalls. Very muddy and downhill, so make sure your shoes are sturdy and because of leeches it is a good idea to wear long trousers. Our guide did very well speaking in both English and Chinese, but was very hard to understand at times (I just about managed but some people’s first language wasn’t English).”
