She knew lots and was so helpful by always taking photos of us so we could just enjoy the moment instead of worrying about dragging cameras around / into the water. The emerald and the other natural pools look nice and all, but the place is massively overcrowded with loud and obnoxious tourists. Same goes for the hot springs, which were especially underwhelming. “A great day to spend exploring inland, away from the Andaman islands. The short jungle trek to the pools is well worth it. Best to take the dip in the Emerald Pool after the walk to the Blue Pool. Lunch was good, as were the Hot Springs. The afternoon stair hike to the top of the hill at Tiger Cave Temple is a challenge, but the sight is worth it – or spend your time discovering the other attractions at the compound. “This was not a good tour! First of all they were 30 min late picking me up...one of the other passengers said they were waiting for 45 min. The whole thing felt rushed and when we got to the last stop, the tiger cave temple we only had an hour, which is not enough time to get to the top and back. The driver was however willing to charge each of us over a 1000 baht tontake us to the top!! Quite disappointing as the tiger cave was the only thing i really wanted to see!!!”
